POINT OTHERS TO JESUS, NOT OURSELVES
John 3:30- He must become greater; I must become less.
Isaiah 9:6-7- For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.
Ephesians 3:16-19- I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Our Beliefs
1 Who is Jesus?
Above all, we believe Jesus loves people.
We believe that He was fully God and fully human (Colossians 2:9) and that He came into our world to redeem us from sin, death, and brokenness (Titus 2:11-14).
We believe He lived a perfect life, that He died for all people, and that He was raised from the dead, so that everyone who trusts in Him can live a full and abundant life here and now (John 10:10) which will continue into eternity with God (John 3:16).
2What is the Bible?
We believe the entire Bible is the perfect, inspired word of God and that He provided it to teach us everything we need to know about Him.
God gave us this message to show us the way that He intends for us live (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
3Who am I to God?
We believe God created us in His image (Genesis 1:27) to do good things and to live our lives following Jesus (Ephesians 2:10).
But we also believe God created us with free will and the ability to choose to rebel against Him.
The Bible calls this rebellion sin (James 1:14-15), saying at some point or another we have all chosen this path (Romans 3:23), and we all need saved from it (Romans 6:23).
4How do I make things right with God?
We believe God’s saving grace is an absolutely free gift that we cannot do anything to earn (Ephesians 2:8-9), and it’s offered exclusively through Jesus (Acts 4:12).
We believe every single person can receive this salvation by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior (Romans 1:16).
In doing so, we believe God expects us to express our decision of faith by repenting—turning from our sin—and being baptized (Acts 2:38).
5How can I live a better life?
We believe that God provides us His Spirit to be involved in every aspect of our lives when we are baptized (Acts 2:38).
The Holy Spirit comforts and encourages us (Acts 9:31), makes us bold so we can share the good news of Jesus with our friends and family (2 Timothy 1:7-8), convicts and strengthens us when we face temptation (John 16:8, 13), and provides gifts from God which benefit the Church community (1 Corinthians 12:7).
6Why do we have leaders in the church?
We believe God provides elders to lead the church and to guide our pastoral staff (Acts 20:28-35).
Together, they share the responsibility and the authority in the church.
They also carry out discipline when it’s needed by having the tough conversations with or removing individuals from ministry who are trying to tear down the church.
But they do these things in love and with humility, because this is how we as a church community are ultimately strengthened (Galatians 6:1).
7How do I fit into all of this?
We believe God provided church leaders to prepare everyone who follows Jesus for serving His kingdom.
So we think everyone in the Church community should be “active” (Ephesians 4:12).
We all have a gift from God—actually, most of us probably have a lot of them—and He wants us to use our gifts to make our church and our world a better place (1 Peter 4:10).
8How does this change my future?
No matter how much the darkness seems to be closing in on us, we believe that greater things are in store for our lives (1 Corinthians 2:9), for the life of His Church (1 Peter 2:9-12), and for our world (Isaiah 11:1-10).
We believe that Jesus desires a relationship with everyone.
And for all those who would trust Him with their lives, the best days are always yet to come (Revelation 21:1-5).
